From furnishing new and custom homes to assisting with large-scale renovations, our tried and true approach to design helps us create a home you’ll love for a lifetime.
Phase One
Initial Consultation
During our initial meeting, we’ll invite you to our studio to meet our team and to share your vision and goals. We’ll also review your timeline, vision, and budget – the three crucial elements to a successful project. Following the meeting, we will provide a customized scope of work for design services, an estimated furnishings investment and a proposed project timeline.
Phase Two
Design Concept
for Construction or Renovation
If your project requires construction, we’ll begin the creative process by working closely with your architect and builder to review your plans, specifications and allowances. We’ll curate an exceptional selection of finishes, fixtures and colors, and begin your construction drawings – floor plans, lighting plans, elevations – everything your construction team will need to fully understand the design. After your review and approval, we turn over the construction package to your builder to implement your custom design.
Phase Three
Design Concept
for Interior Furnishings
This is where the magic happens! We begin by focusing on the function of the space with detailed furniture plans, always considering how your family lives. Then it’s time for one of the most special days of the design process – the “throw down.” You’ll visit the studio for a collaborative design meeting where our team will guide you through a selection of materials and finishes from our highly curated selection of vendors, manufacturers, and craftspeople. Then we get to work designing and preparing your final presentation.
Phase Four
Project management
Once we have your design plan finalized, our team will meticulously handle all of the details to bring your design to life. We’ll place the orders for your custom furnishings and answer questions from the contractors. Behind the scenes, we’ll be managing orders, tracking shipments, coordinating design details with trade professionals, and advocating on your behalf when problems arise. We’ll work with our warehouse to coordinate the details of your upcoming installation – keeping you informed every step of the way.
Phase Five
installation
This is the moment we’ve all been waiting for – when your vision becomes reality! Everything in our warehouse will be inspected, organized and ready for installation. Our team coordinates the details and manages the trucks, places the furnishings, installs the window treatments and even makes the beds. Then it’s time for the grand reveal – and we absolutely love to see your joy as you walk through the door.
