How are we spending these cold winter days? Bundled up on construction sites making sure every last “behind the walls” detail is just right! It’s one of the most important days during the construction of a custom home.

On this very cold January morning, I spent several hours walking a house with our contractor. We brainstormed the best solutions for our clients…..lighting design, placement of electrical outlets, design of ceiling details, cabinetry layouts, custom shower design, and the list goes on.

We worked until our toes and fingers were numb (I really don’t like being cold). So, although this was my temporary office for the day, it will be well worth the time when the project is complete.

 

The not-so-glamorous real life of an interior designer….but, we love it!
