Southern Studio in today's Wall Street Journal. It's all about the love of Grandparents.

We get so consumed by our daily to-do list and making design happen, but every once in a while we get asked questions that make us really stop and think.  Recently, I received a phone call from Alina Dizik, a writer for the Wall Street Journal. She was focusing on grandparents designing homes and special spaces for grandchildren. Check out the full article that features our clients, George and Linda Harrington, who happen to be some of the best grandparents I know.

It is these moments (and writers that make us slow down a bit) that help us remember that we are not designing houses, we are designing homes. Big people, little people…it’s the ones we love that really matter!

  1. Congratulations on such wonderful recognition! You are so right — our jobs go far beyond just furnishing houses.
