We often get requests for donations and sponsorships, but this one tops them all….and it comes from my own son! Brian is a freshman in college and just finished an awesome class during his 3-week winter term called The Business of Nascar. Don’t ask…in my next life I’m coming back as one of my children. Check out the text message conversation:

Brian: Would Southern Studio Interior Design like to sponsor my group’s race car for $25? All proceeds go towards Victory Junction Gang Camp and it is tax deductible.

Me: Sure. (I’ve learned to not ask too many questions).

Brian: This contribution will make a kid very happy. Thank you, Mommy. (I’m always Mommy when I say “yes”).

Then, the next day I received this photo….

Brian: Thank you, Southern Studio, for your sponsorship.

I never, in a million years, thought I’d see our logo on the side of a race car, but it made my day!
