On the Road to visit the ASID Symphony Designer Showhouse in Charleston!

I’ve been enjoying a few days of spring break girl time with my daughter and my mom in Charleston! The timing was perfect so we could visit the ASID Designer Showhouse sponsored by the Charleston Symphony Orchestra League. The beautiful William Steele House (circa 1815) was transformed by designers from ASID Carolinas into a beautiful collection of unique interior spaces. One room is more beautiful than the next and definitely worth a visit!

The volunteers from the Charleston Symphony Orchestra League did a fabulous job organizing the event (after 34 years of Showhouses, they really know how to do it). Since they requested that no photos be taken of the interior spaces, I thought it would be a good idea to honor their request.

Here’s a sneak peak of the side gardens which were transformed into a wonderful cafe.

A beautiful setting for lunch…

I can say first hand, there is a tremendous amount of work that goes into a Showhouse. Congratulations to all the designers for a job well done!
