This collection of blues and greens is lively and soothing, all at the same time!
Company C recently had a moving blog post regarding their sponsorship of GoodWeave’s Faces of Freedom photography exhibit. So often, we see beautiful products but have no idea how or where they were produced. The exhibit by acclaimed documentary photographer U. Roberto Romano is powerful and the blog sums it up well, stating, “As you journey through the exhibition, you’ll learn about the ancient craft of rug weaving juxtaposed with the grim reality of weavers, too young to be at the looms, laboring in poor conditions where childhoods remain incomplete.” Incomplete childhoods is a term that should not be in our vocabulary. I encourage you to explore the exhibit. I promise you’ll think about these children the next time you’re shopping for rugs!
