The ultimate goal...happy clients!

What is my ultimate goal for every project?  Without a doubt, it is clients that are thrilled with their new home!  We spend months working to bring a vision to reality.  This past weekend, some very special clients opened their new home to all the trades who worked so hard to make it reality. They were gracious hosts who were truly thankful for the extra effort so many put forth to make their house a home. It was an afternoon for celebrating….thanks Tom and Alicia!

The beautiful foyer….

This kitchen was designed for entertaining!

The island shape successfully combines comfort for guests at the bar and adequate space for cooking!  Believe me, it took a lot of work to get this design just right….and it paid off!

One of my favorite spots in the house is this relaxing media room, which includes rope lighting in the trey ceiling, rich chocolate brown walls, and a wet bar with mosaic backsplash and hammered stainless sink.

I couldn’t help taking a few photos of the beautiful details….love the mirrored backsplash in the butler’s pantry.

The powder room is welcoming for any guest with beautiful beadboard wainscotting, mosaic tile on the walls, mirrored sink, and marble countertops.

The whimsical starfish sits beautifully on the mantle with the mosaic tile fireplace surround.   All of the mosaic tile reminds me of seaglass, which is perfect for this home located on the Carolina coast.  Alicia’s talent and appreciation for great design is evident throughout the house!

Tom and Alicia with their guests (and the families who support them).  This home was a true group effort!

Alicia is a fabulous hostess….the brownies and lemon bars were delicious.

I love this exterior shot (photography by Frank Hart).  This welcoming home with fine craftsmanship was built by Jeff Sanderson and his team at Whitney Blair, Inc.
